D’Onofrio Music Studio
A Studio For You
D’Onofrio Music Studio (“DMS”) is a place where students enhance their lives through fun, music making and education in the arts. DMS is for everyone: children participating in musical enrichment outside of the school setting, teenagers expressing themselves in a new way and adults exploring a hidden passion.
Through private and group lessons, students of all ability levels discover that studying music, singing and performing can be fun!

Lessons for all ages
I love working with singers. You are a singer! We were all born with a unique voice and we can all improve that voice to make it more pleasurable to sing and express ourselves in a meaningful way. I have worked with all types of singers: children exploring their voices for the first time, teens singing for the love of it or preparing for college programs, adults getting reacquainted with their instrument. Whatever your aim, I can help you reach your personal musical goals!
My favorite part of my job is getting to know YOU. Singing and using your instrument is a tremendously personal thing and I am honored to share this journey with you.

My Story
In 2015, I left my thriving studio and beloved students in Massachusetts to create a new life with my family in Southern California. I am eager to welcome singers from my local community of Rancho Mission Viejo and beyond to my studio.
Music and theatre have always been a part of my life. After graduating from the University of New Hampshire with a degree in Music Education, I taught in the public schools teaching general music, choir and musical theatre. I started my voice studio in 2000, and have since worked with hundreds of singers through private and group lessons, musical theatre classes, and musicals at Andover High School in Andover, MA where I served as musical director and vocal coach.
My students have gone on to purse degrees in musical theatre and classical music, music therapy and speech and language pathology. Students have performed in popular music venues, local and regional theatre, as well as on Broadway.
I currently teach voice and musical theatre at Inspire Dance Studio in La Canada-Flintridge, substitute teach for local CUSD music teachers and study Education Through Music (ETM), a method of teaching that explores the critical contribution of the aesthetic in the nurture and education of the post-modern child in the age of the digital brain.
I have been a member of the National Association of Teachers of Singing (NATS) since 2013 and have served on the board of the San Diego Chapter since 2015. My students have the opportunity to participate in bi-annual Student Auditions in which students perform for and receive valuable feedback from local San Diego voice teachers and music professionals.
